Welcome to Dreamland Expeditions!

English is the official language of Ghana.

Although English is the official language of Ghana and is widely spoken in the parts of the country likely to be visited by you, numerous different languages and dialects are spoken in. A large group of the population speak Twi. Other people, especially to the east of the river Volta speak Ewe. The main language around Tamale is Dagbani.. Akwaaba! Woeso! Maraaba! All of these words mean Welcome! And you will be welcomed in Ghana! The Ghanian people are warm and friendly. They will make you feel at home in their country.

Ghana as a travel destination is amiable, affordable and hassl- free.

The Bradt guide describes Ghana which is located in Western Africa, as a travel destination that is difficult to flaw. "When somebody coined the phrase 'Africa for beginners' to describe Malawi, that most laid-back of southern African countries, they might as easily have been talking about Ghana. Today, doubly so. Not only can Ghana be recommended without reservation to even the most nervous of first time travellers for being as amiable, affordable and hassle-free as practically any country on the African continent, just as importantly, Ghana boasts a travel circuit so varied and compact that it might almost be seen as offering a microcosmic first taste of Africa." the Bradt Guide.

Dreamland Expeditions would love to make you feel welcomed in Ghana.
